About this deal

The microphone is compact and built with an easy flip-up mechanism that also serves to mute it. The controls are well placed with a power on/off button, and a volume control wheel found on the side of the left ear cup for easy access. Comfort The Logitech G535 is light in weight because its ski band headband design distributes the weight evenly and doesn’t cause the headsets to clamp onto the ears too tightly. Connectivity-wise, the G535 pairs automatically with the included USB dongle. Simply connect the dongle to the USB port on your PC or PS4/5, power up the G535, and the headset will automatically connect. The G535 uses Logitech’s Lightspeed wireless technology and I have had no latency issues, as well as being able to actually walk around my flat without much trouble or dropouts. As far as improvements and negatives, I would have preferred a swivel mechanism for the earcups to aid fitment, and I’d definitely have liked a bump up to the G PRO drivers. I would also mention again that sidetone doesn’t work without the app open, but I’m sure that can easily be fixed or implemented with a firmware or G HUB software update. Summary However, that’s canceled out by their overly emphasized mid and high bass. You can enjoy that extra boom and groove through these headsets.

Logitech’s headsets have always been a little left-field in terms of looks, be it the aircraft headset-inspired looks of the G Pro X Wireless, to the ski-band headband of this Logitech G535 Lightspeed. When we take a look at the G535 build quality, there isn’t really much to rave about. The headset’s frame is made entirely of painted plastic, and I wouldn’t count on it withstanding too many drops. However, I can attest that it isn’t cheap flimsy plastic. The midrange and treble also sound good, blending well without letting one overpower the other. One thing I notice is that the higher treble frequencies seem to be a little bit dull, which causes some of the higher notes to fade out. Both Logitech G733 and G535 don’t offer much with their two adjustment notches, and you cannot rotate their cups either.

The G535 don’t offer much in terms of bass-boosting or excessive rumbling, which some may miss, but for these first-person shooters, the bass is just fine. The Logitech G535 Lightspeed is an intriguing gaming headset, featuring one of the most left-field designs of any model I’ve ever tested. These headphones, therefore, would be big for people with small heads. They do, however, easily fit most head sizes. Audio Quality The infinite wheel control beeps when you have reached the max volume, and the headset provides audio clues for when you have muted and unmuted the pretty advanced mic.

The Logitech G535 exemplifies the concept of comfort in a gaming headset. Whether you are settling in for some competitive Valorant with friends or diving into a solo play-through of Elden Ring, the last thing you want is to be bothered by an uncomfortable headset. The Logitech G535 has a ski-band headband design along with a reversible fabric strap. One side of the strap is purple, while the other side is blue. As an added bonus, the Logitech ones are usually reversible with reversed colourways and patterns to give you a little customization. These bands work so well that I hope Logitech can convince Astro to implement them in their range, too. Despite a generally neutral color scheme, the purple and blue multicolored elastic suspension headband adds a bit of colorful flair to the headset, giving it what I think is a futuristic look. After a thorough review of the two Logitech Wireless headphones, I am going to compare these two and see what differentiates them in terms of their design, features as well as performance.

I tested the Logitech G535 with some high-intensity Valorant gameplay on PC. In this game, players rely heavily on accurate audio cues to zero in on enemy positions and gather other important in-game info. Along with that, these headsets are stable on the head and don’t move around even while you’re lying on a couch. Some other headsets feature a microphone that can be moved and adjusted easily (made of flexible steel, for example). I find the G535 microphone build somewhat limiting, but it’s not a deal breaker. Mic Quality One thing I should mention about my unboxing experience is the minor struggle I had locating the USB receiver that facilitates the headset’s wireless connection. After about 10 minutes of searching, I found it fastened to the bottom of the box containing the charging cable – a little bit odd. They can, however, move around with intense head movements and are likely to fall off during intense exercises. Pros of the Logitech G733

Moreover, the G535’s passive soundstage is much more open and natural as compared to Logitech’s G733. Battery Life The Logitech G535 Lightspeed has lightweight comfort, great performance and wireless connection at a reasonable price With that being said, I noticed a small bassy punch in the overall profile, which helped to emphasise the lower-end of songs a little more, with the bass brought a little further forward. The lower-end punch also worked out well in games, with explosions, gunfire and footsteps all appearing especially clear in a few rounds of CS:GO. Besides the one or two downsides, these controls are easy to use. There are some basic on and off buttons, a mic mute button when you flip the mic upwards as well as an infinite volume wheel control that beeps when you have reached maximum volume. These headsets are relatively lightweight and have a good supportive headband that doesn’t clamp your head too tightly.
