However, I feel like that the book spends a little bit too much time describing the environment, and I did find myself skimming a little bit at certain points. The ramifications of a 'wrong' photo placed in her pack are far-reaching and criss-cross all over the place.

Among them is Eric Wu, a sadistic assassin, who has a great interest in the old photo and will stop at nothing to keep the secrets it holds buried. A look at the author here will lead you to think that this is a thriller that will keep you glued to this book as you plough your way through it at too quick a pace. There’s no doubt in my mind that the man, the Jack, that Claire knew all this time, as her husband, was a truly loving husband and a cherished father to their two kids, Emma and Max.

I decided on this book so I could use it for my A-Z challenge since I love Harlan Coben and I have not yet been disappointed by anything that he wrote. His mysteries tend to feature apparently normal, family people with comfortable lives, who suddenly find themselves in bizarre and dangerous situations. However, his newest book, Just One Look, goes in a different direction by featuring a woman as the main character. Unfortunately, this book doesn’t do anything to break those clichés, and it just ends up just feeling more or less like the same thing as the rest of the Harlan Coben novel pile.
